Summer Kid Friendly Recipes with Blume!

It’s officially summer and that means your littles are home and probably requiring refreshments on the regular.

We’ve partnered with Canadian brand Blume to help you get those superfood servings into your littles in the most delicious of ways! Blume’s organic, plant-based, functional blends can be used for delicious grown up lattés but also for smoothies, oats, baking and refreshing summer delights!

Each pack contains 30 servings and are nut, gluten and dairy free. The blends are made from nutrient dense superfoods and are packed with health benefits! Visit to look up each blend and it’s specific superfood power!

We got our hands on some of the Beetroot Blend that boosts energy and supports heart health and came up with the perfect refreshing pink lemonade!

Beetroot Lemonade

Glasses, lemon, and tea


  • 1/2 to 1 cup of organic cane sugar (depending on how sweet you want it)
  • 1 cup of lemon juice (approximately 4-5 lemons)
  • Ice
  • Water
  • 3 tsp of Blume Beetroot Blend


  1. Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Juice your lemons, keep pulp, remove seeds.
  3. Pour sugar into boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  4. Let sugar syrup sit until it reaches room temperature.
  5. Pour syrup and lemon juice into a jug or pitcher.
  6. Top with ice and cold water.
  7. Add 3 tsp of Blume Beetroot Blend
  8. Stir & Enjoy!

Quick & Easy- Throw 3 tsp into your favourite ready made lemonade!

The reishi hot cacao blend doesn’t need to be put away until the Canadian cold weather returns. Use it to make some delicious chocolate milk, throw it into you ice coffees or try out the ice pops we made! With a serving of reishi mushrooms you’ll be giving your little ones a treat that will support their immune system and keep them smiling!

Chocolate Banana Pops

  • 2 tsp of reishi hot cacao
  • 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla oat milk
  • 1-2 tbsp of sugar, maple syrup or honey (depending on how sweet you want them)
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • melted chocolate for drizzling (optional)
  • sprinkles (optional)


  1. Mix the Blume with a splash of boiling water.
  2. Add the Blume, oat milk and bananas to a blender and blend smooth.
  3. Freeze overnight.
  4. When frozen drizzle with some melted chocolate and decorate with sprinkles.
  5. Pop into the freezer for 5 minutes before eating to harden chocolate.
