How We Work

Most families find us because their child came home talking about yoga at daycare or school — and then they go looking for the sign-up page.

We work a little differently than a studio. We bring our programs to children rather than asking families to come to us. Our certified early years educators run sessions inside childcare centres, preschools, schools and camps, woven into the day the children already know. There's no drop-off, no separate schedule to manage, and nothing extra for you to coordinate.

That means there isn't a public class list to register for. But there are two straightforward ways to bring Little Yogis into your child's week.

1. Ask your centre or school about us

This is how most of our programs begin. A parent mentions us to their director, and we take it from there.

We'll get in touch with everything they'd want to know — how sessions fit into an existing daily routine, what it looks like for their age groups, scheduling, and cost. Our educators are police vetted, fully insured, and trained to work within the rhythms of a licensed program rather than around them.

There's no cost or obligation to you, and we'll never suggest the enquiry came from anywhere but us if you'd rather stay out of it.

2. Book a private group session

We also come directly to families — to your home, backyard, condo party room or local park.

Parent & tot and small group classes. For playgroups, neighbours, homeschool groups and families who'd like something regular. Children move through imaginative movement stories, breathing games and simple poses that build balance, coordination and body awareness — with plenty of room to join in their own way.

Birthday parties and celebrations. A calm, active alternative to the usual party. Roughly 45 minutes of themed movement, partner poses and a settling activity at the end, so children come back to the table ready to sit down together.

Community and seasonal events. Library programs, fairs, camps and outdoor sessions through spring and summer. We're comfortable with drop-in formats where children come and go.

Sessions are led by certified early years yoga instructors and shaped around the ages in the room — a group of toddlers and a group of eight-year-olds need very different things from the same forty minutes.

What a session actually looks like

Movement, stories, breathing and stillness, in that order more often than not — because children settle far more easily after they've moved.

We teach process over performance. Nobody is corrected into a shape, and children are welcome to watch before they join. What they're practising underneath the poses is self-regulation: noticing when their body feels wound up, and knowing a few things they can do about it. Those are skills that show up later at bedtime, in the classroom, and in the moments before a transition.

No mats or equipment needed — we bring what's required.
